After two years of interviews, data analysis, and writing, we have finally finished our final report on the Mission Trails displacement. (We released a preliminary analysis here in March of 2016). The purpose of this report was to fully document the impacts of the city’s rezoning decision in May 2014, not only to produce an historical document that would bear witness to what happened and honor the voices and stories of the residents, but to produce data about residents’ lived experiences of displacement that can inform both policy and organizing.
